Iron Maiden: The Writing on the Wall

Created and animated the 3D version of Eddie, Iron Maiden’s mascot, for the band’s comeback music video. Our goal was to make the 3D visuals match both the iconic dark look of Eddie and the 2D style of the rest of the animation. We explored many creative solutions and ended up with a mix of renders with stylized textures and overpaint. While it was a huge artistic and technical challenge, we had a lot of fun doing it and are very proud of the end result.
